# PREGAME (Public Devnet Event)

Sei v2 is coming. Why don't we start with a PREGAME? 🍻

## Overview

We are excited to announce our upcoming **PREGAME** event, a trading competition on Public Devnet, offering participants a chance to win our governance token, [$RUM](/tokenomics.md). This event is a unique opportunity to engage with our platform and earn rewards in a simulated trading environment.

## Key Details

* **Event Type:** Trading Competition on Devnet
* **Reward:** $RUM Tokens (5% of Total Supply)
* **Reward Eligibility:** Top 1000 Traders
* **Wen?:** March 1st \~ April 30th
  * **Romance Dawn:** March 1st \~ March 10th
  * **Trading START (スタート):** March 11th

## How to Participate

### Step 1: Acquire iSEI

Stake SEI on [**Silo**](https://app.silostaking.io/), a liquid staking service on Sei, to get iSEI.

### Step 2: Deposit iSEI

**OPEN MARCH 1ST!!!**

Deposit your iSEI into our pregame contract. You'll receive an equivalent amount of BERI tokens on Public Devnet.

#### ROMANCE DAWN (MARCH 1st \~ MARCH 10th)

For those who bridged before trading starts, the top 70 wallets will be rewarded **1 RUM each**.

### Step 3: Trading

**STARTS MARCH 11TH!!!**

The goal of the PREGAME is to maximize your PnL. Your points will be calculated by your BERI balance at the end of the event minus the number of iSEI you deposited during the event.

BERI-BUCK will track SEI-USDT on Binance. So the mental model is BERI = SEI and BUCK = USD.

#### Features

* **Market Making Bot:** BERI will be priced in BUCK aligned with Sei's USDT price on Binance using our market maker bot with unlimited liquidity.
* **Leverage Trading:** Up to 10x long and short will be available with liquidations.

## Rewards/Consequences

### Returning iSEI Deposits

iSEI deposits will be returned **proportionally to the BERI balance** at the end of the event. This means that trading on Public Devnet has **real consequences**! You could either earn or lose iSEI as a result. The iSEI to BERI claim ratio will depend on the PnL of traders.

#### Example Scenario

* **Participants:** Bill and Sarah
* **Initial Deposit:** 5 iSEI each, receiving 5 BERI each.
* **Balance at End of Pregame:** Bill and Sarah both have negative PnL, with Bill ending up with 4 BERI while Sarah ends up with only 1 BERI.
* **Final Distribution:** Since 10 iSEI has been deposited, and the total BERI balance of traders is 5, the claim ratio is 1 to 2. Bill can claim 8 iSEI, while Sarah can claim 2 iSEI.

### $RUM Rewards!

The top 1000 traders with the highest PnL points will win RUM! RUM has a total supply of 20000 and 5% of that, 1000 RUM, will be given to PREGAME participants.
